Happenings at OLL
Parish Mission
Mark your calendars. Our parish mission with Fr. Mike Vetrano, Fr. Jim Vlaun, Fr. John Sureau, and Fr. Bob Scheckenback will take place on February 27 - to March 1. Plan to join us for each night of the mission. The title of the mission is: Finding Joy, Hope, and Peace on God's Holy Mountain (of life!). Health Care and Catholic Conscience
A new interpretation of HHS is threatening the ability of the Catholic church to provide healthcare and benefits in accord with Catholic teaching. It would require agencies such as catholic hospitals, catholic charities, parishes and school to provide health care benefits such as contraception and abortifacient agents to employees of the church as part of our health insurance benefits. Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes
We celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday, February 11 with a mass of healing at 10am. Come to celebrate the patroness of our parish and feel free to bring with you anyone who is hoping for God's healing for our minds, bodies, or spirits.
Mission Trip to ElSalvador
Calling all young people, high school and college! We are planning our eighth mission trip to El Salvador this summer. We will have a organization meeting on Thursday, February 2, at 7PM in our parish center. A mission trip is an opportunity to witness and work with our mission partners in El Salvador. Click here for a trip flyer.
The week of January 29 is Catholic Schools Week -- A time to celebrate the educational mission of our parish community. Come visit our school and see the wonderful educational opportunities being offered!
